AAG 2017 Student Shorts Open Now

AAG 2017 Student Shorts Competition

Call for submissions

Have you been thinking of using film in your research but needed an excuse to get started? Then why not make a short film (using a camera or smartphone) and submit it to the AAG student shorts competition. If chosen your film will be screened at next year’s AAG conference in Boston (April 5-9).

While your film can be in any genre and about anything related to geography, we particularly welcome films that deal with the themes of next year’s AAG conference which are:

  1. Food and Water Security
  2. Human Rights
  3. Uncertainty and context in collecting geographical knowledge
